Banks is an advocate for education and committed to ensure that all children have access to the quality education they need to reach their full potential and compete for good-paying jobs – no matter where they live.
Banks earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Wayne State University. In addition, Banks earned a law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law. Banks is pursuing a doctorate in public policy and administration.
Banks is an adjunct professor at Baker College and is on-staff at Rodnick, Unger, and Kaner, P.C.
In law school, Banks volunteered with the MSU Law Plea and Sentencing Clinic, where he provided legal services to the poor. Banks has served on boards of Wayne State University Criminal Justice Department and Emmanuel Community Services.
