I'm Brad Jacobsen. I'm running to be your next State Representative for the 46th District. August 3rd, 2010 is going to be my primary. Thanks for taking the time to stop by my website. I hope we can get to know each other better as we work together for a greater Northern Oakland County and Michigan.
Brad was born, raised, and still resides in Oxford. He is married to Teri (his wonderful wife of 29 years) and has three children.
He is the Vice-President of Jacobsen's Flowers, with three locations including one on M-24 in Lake Orion.
In the past, Brad has chaired the Oxford Township Water-Sewer Committee, the Oxford Fire Board, and was a member of the Oxford Emergency Safety Authority. As a businessman he has served our community as a past chair of the Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Past President and active member of the Oxford Rotary, and is a member in good standing of the local Elks and Eagles Clubs.
Armed with his political knowledge he has become an Oakland County Commissioner. Representing District 1, which comprises Groveland Twp., Brandon Twp., Oxford Twp., Addison Twp., and a small portion of Northeastern Independence Twp. He has served nearly two terms in this role and is the Republican Caucus Chairman.

After completing his B.A. at the James Madison College of Michigan State University, he returned home to the family business. His degree is in Political Economics and Business.
