It requires an active, honest, and insightful government to provide protections to the citizens and restore this state and this country to the greatness and prosperity we once held.
Surely it seems that locally, nationally, and globally the world has gone crazy. You can't receive information from
most media without learning of a major corporation filing for bankruptcy. Every day we become aware of new schemes perpetrated by diabolical persons designed to rid us of wealth and possessions. While attacks upon us from outside our national borders are somewhat beyond the responsibilities of the office I currently seek, private or misguided corporate and governmental attacks upon our employment, education, health care, liberties, and our daily lives
Bruce A. Rogers is a life long resident of Michigan and has always been a strong leader who has led by example. Bruce is a divorced father of three who took custody of two very young boys and raised them into adulthood. He and his family suffered the tragic loss of his oldest son in a 2008 motor vehicle accident. He had often personally experienced the peaks and valleys of economic, social, and employment turmoil while raising his family. These occurrences have helped to shape him into a man that wishes to improve the future outlook of life, not just for some, but for all people.
Bruce has been employed by Isuzu Commercial Trucks of America for the past nine years, assigned as Service Operations Manager for General Motors Medium Duty Division for the last two and a half years. He is currently in charge of consumer, dealership franchise, and corporate service business in the south central region of the United States. He has always been reasonable in his dealings with retail customers and franchised dealerships; his activity in this arena is based on dealing with rational thought, common sense, and policy implementation and enforcement.
Bruce is currently a GM white collar "Contract" employee and is the grandson of an original UAW sit-downer. He is a former technician himself and advanced up the ladder from blue collar to GM Service Operations Management due to his personal intelligence, fairness, and perseverance. "A task anyone can accomplish with hard work, perseverance and dedication" he often told his sons.
Bruce is a current and active member of the Safari Club International, a member of the NRA and ASE. He has traveled to obscure parts of the world in pursuit of his passions of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and intelligent resource management causes. Through these adventures he has personally addressed several ranking Nunavut tribal and South African government officials, as well as many international business men and women in support of these, and many other important international political, economic, social, and conservation issues.
