I am a Michigan Survivor and Job Provider.

As the owner and operator of Jersey Giant Subs! right here in Delta Township and Grand Ledge, I understand fully the challenges Michigan entrepreneurs, job providers, and their families are faced with each and every day. That's my motivation for running for State Representative.

Twenty-five years ago, my wife Anne and I made the decision to raise our family here in Eaton County. When we made that decision, we believed strongly in all that Mid-Michigan had to offer young families like ours --great schools, safe neighborhoods, and endless opportunities for success.

I still hold those same beliefs in our communities today. However, due to the economic downturn many of the options that were available twenty, ten, or even five years ago are no longer a reality for families today.

I want to change these unfortunate realities in order to secure a safe and prosperous future for our children and future generations.

As a job-provider, I know first-hand the challenge of meeting a payroll and keeping my business' doors open for our forty employees, and the families that depend on them. And I know all too well the obstacles of doing business here in Michigan.

In order to restore our state, Michigan must again foster an environment that encourages and rewards the entrepreneurial spirit through lower taxes and less government regulation of individuals and job-providers.

As your next state Representative, job number one will be to get Michigan back to work and that begins with reducing the size of state government and lowering the tax and regulatory burden on Michigan's greatest asset -- our citizens and job providers.

Please be sure to take a minute to learn more about me and my background here. I look forward to getting to work for Eaton County!
